Funeral services for Miss Alice Allen, who died at her home, 887 Avenue A, on
Monday morning, will be conducted from Shiloh Baptist Church, Sunday, at 1:15 p.m.

Miss Allen was a graduate of the Booker T. Washington High School and Virginia
State College, class of 1929. Since graduation she has been employed in the
Norfolk City School system, teaching in Campostella.

Surviving her are her mother, Mrs. Hattie Allen, two sisters, Mrs. Bowman
Jackson and Miss Rosa B. Allen, also a teacher in the city school system, and a
brother, Herbert A. Allen of New York City.
