Allen, widow of Samuel H. Allen, died last night at 10:40 o'clock at her residence, 18 Reilly Street, following an illness of several weeks. She was 54 years old. She was a native of Norfolk and is survived by four children, who are W.T. Allen, J.M. Allen, S.H. Allen Jr. and Mrs. W.T. Williams, all of Norfolk. One brother, Walter Cooper, also survives. Funeral services will be held from the residence Monday morning at 11 o'clock and interment in Elmwood Cemetery. ***************************************************************************** MRS. ELIZABETH ALLEN Funeral services over Mrs. Elizabeth Allen, widow of Samuel H.D. Allen, whose death occurred Saturday, was held from her late residence, 18 Reilly Street at 11 o'clock yesterday and were conducted by Rev. R. Finley Gayle, of the Cumberland Street Methodist Church. There were handsome floral tributes. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: A.H. Sterling, Wm. Williamson, W.C. Rutter, C. Lee, J.W. Jenkins and Walter Edwards.
