Virginian Piot and The Norfolk Landmark January 19, 1930

Shirley Lee Allgood, 18-month-old daughter of Richard L. and Virginia Carrick 
Allgood, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday morning at a local hospital. Besides her 
parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.F. 
Allgood; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Carrick and her great 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Carrick, all of Norfolk.
Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 E. Freemason 
Street, this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The Rev. D.W Howard, D.D., rector of St. 
Luke's Church and the Rev. John H. Griffith, D.D., rector of Church of the 
Epiphany, will officiate. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

4:30 a.m., SHIRLEY LEE, daughter of Richard L. and Virginia Carrick Allgood, in 
the 2nd year of her age.
Services at H. D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, No. 610-612 East Freemason 
street, THIS (Sunday) AFTERNOON at 3:30 o’clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery
