Virginian-Pilot, September 5, 1909
The funeral of John O'Grady Allmand, who died in Baltimore on Thursday evening, 
will be held at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon from the home of his sisters, Mrs. 
Honoria Baraud and Miss Louisa Allmand, of 90 Boush Street, the Rev. Robert 
Gatewood officiating. The deceased, who was a well-known clubman of Baltimore, 
where he had resided for many years, was in the 79th year of his age, and was a 
native of Norfolk. He was a son of Colonel Albert Allmand, was well known here.
