Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, June 14, 1990 
Viola Mary Alston, of the 900 block of W. 26th St., a domestic worker, died June
10, 1990, in a hospital.

Mrs. Alston, a Norfolk native, was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Napolean C. Alston; a daughter, Lula M. Alston of
Norfolk; a son, Herman C. Alston of Ohio; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the
Rev. J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends may join the
family at 508 E. Brambleton Ave.
