Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 3,1962
Mrs. Katie Alston of 441 Walke street, who died in a local hospital Oct. 28, will 
receive final rites Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Jehovah’s Witness Hall.  Burial will 
be in
Mount Olive Cemetery under direction of Pretlow Funeral Home. 

A native of Plymouth, NC, Mrs. Alston is survived by her husband, Charlie Alston.
