Norfolk - A funeral service was held Tuesday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church for 
Mrs. Lula Alston of 2519 Barre street, who died at her home Dec. 21.

The Rev. H. T. Myers officiated at the service.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery 
with Riddick Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Alston, a Southampton County native, was a member and usher at Mt. Olive 
Church.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Rebie Williams of Courtland.
