Virginian Pilot April 1, 1960

Mrs. Drucilla Alston, 79, died Wednesday at New Calvary Home for the Aged after 
a long illness.
She was the widow of Ben Alston and a native of Elizabeth City, N.C. She had 
been in Norfolk more than 40 years. 
She was a member of First Church of Christ Holiness.
Her only survivor is her brother-in-law, George T. Alston of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home where a funeral service will be 
conducted Monday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. O.W. McInnis, pastor of First Church of 
Christ Holiness. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
