Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - May 29, 1991

Carrie Helen Alston of the 900 block of Washington Ave., a retired 
housekeeper, died May 25, 1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Alston, a native of Littleton, N.C., was a member of First Calvary 
Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Anthony W. Alston and Kenny J. Alston and a 
brother, Curtis Cooper, all of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Graves Funeral Home by 
the Rev. James Anderson. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends may join 
the family at the residence.
