The Virginian Pilot, Wednesday, May 26, 1971

Mrs. Luvenia B. Alston of 2810 Pioneer Ave. died Tuesday in a hospital after a 
short illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was the wife of Roland D. Alston and a daughter of the 
late Napoleon and Mrs. Louise Braye.

She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Wilbur D. Alston and two daughters, 
Miss Miriam Alston and Mrs. Jane Adams, all of Norfolk; six grandchildren; and 
two great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.
