NORFOLK - Miss Vernice Alston of 1006 Barney St. died Thursday morning in a 
hospital after a short illness.

A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Webster and Mrs. Mary 
Alston.

She worked for bel Aire Motel.

Surviving are a brother, Roland J. Alston of Norfolk; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna 
Ampy and Miss Esther Austin of New York.

The body was taken to Graves Funeral Home.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral service for Miss Vernice Alston will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. 
in Graves Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
