The Virginian-Pilot, Thursday, November 26, 1970

NORFOLK - Joseph Carver Alston, 27, of 2810 Pioneer Ave. died Wednesday in a
hospital after a short illness.

A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Roland D. and Mrs. Luvenia B. Alston.

Besides his parents, surviving are a brother, Wilbur D. Alston, and two sisters,
Mrs. Jeane Adams and Miss Marion Alston, all of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Graves Funeral Home. Burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery.
