Norfolk - Mrs. Penny Alston of 2595 Ruffin Way, the widow of Shepherd Alston and a 
native of Hertford NC died Aug. 8 in a nursing home.

Her only survivors are three cousins, Mrs. Virginia M Wiggins of Norfolk, and 
Misses Alice Mae Felton and Jessie Felton of New York.

A funeral was held Thursday Aug. 12 in Riddick Funeral Chapel with burial in 
Calvary Cemetery.
