Funeral services for Mrs. Mary F. Alston, 46, 611 Freemason street, who died in a 
local hospital on September 14, were held at Hale Funeral Home Chapel, on 
September 19. The Rev. R. L. Elder officiated. Mrs. Alston was born in Inez NC, 
and had lived here 15 years. Surviving are a daughter, and two brothers. Burial 
was in Calvary Cemetery.
