Mrs. Lulu Alton

Funeral services for Mrs. Alton, 28, of Vermont street, who died on January 2 
while visiting friends in New York City, were held from Queen Street Baptist 
Church on January 9 with the Rev. R. L. Laws officiating. The deceased, a well 
known beautician and owner of Lulu’s Beauty Salon on Church street, is survived by 
her husband, Douglas Alton, three daughters, two sons, a father, and other 
relatives. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale in charge of arrangements.
