Virginian-Pilot  October 7, 1918
Josie Margaret Amato, 32 years old, died at her home, 213 West Sixteenth Street, 
at 10:45 o'clock yesterday morning.  She was the wife of Thomas Amato.  Her 
parents are Mr. and Mrs. Antonio Sansone.  She also leaves a daughter, Miss Rosino 
Amato, and a son, Savory Amato.  The funeral will be held from the home at 10 
o'clock tomorrow morning with services by Reverend Father T. E. Waters, of the 
Sacred Heart Church.  Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
