The Virginian Pilot Tuesday December 20, 1960
Miss Rhoda Margaret Ambrose, daughter of Mrs. Edith R. Ambrose and the late 
Joseph Grey Ambrose, died in a Norfolk hospital Sunday at 9:45 p.m.
She was a lifelong resident of South Norfolk, residing at 1117 Chesapeake Ave.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Annie Laura 
Dysart of Winchester, Mrs. Ruth Hanaski of Norfolk, Mrs. Mary Martinette of 
Sandbridge and Mrs. Francis Kunze of Newport News; two brothers, Edmond Gray 
Ambrose of South Norfolk and Birch Vaiden Ambrose of Norfolk.
The body was taken to Francis A. Gay Funeral Home, where a funeral service will 
be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
