AMES, LAURA WILLIAMSON, of 224 West 17th Street, at a local hospital, Tuesday, 
March 25, 1952, at 12 o’clock midnight, MRS. LAURA WILLIAMSON AMES, widow of 
Richard Dix Ames and daughter of the late John T. and Mrs. Mary Whitehurst 
Williamson, aged 85 years. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral 
Home, 631 Westover Avenue, corner Manteo Street, FRIDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
