FUNERALS: The remains of the late William P. Amiss, son of the Rev. Joseph H. 
Amiss, arrived here from Baltimore yesterday morning, accompanied by his father 
and were conveyed at once to the residence of his sister, Mrs. James B. Porter, 
Mowbray Arch, Ghent, where the funeral was solemnized at 11 o'clock a.m. and 
was largely attended by the friends of the deceased. . .
The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood cemetery.
