Norfolk - Freeman C. Ampey of 934 Pollard street was given last rites recently 
in the Hale Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Frank P. Wise conducting.

Mr. Ampey, the husband of Mrs. Anna Ampey, died in a hospital in Plainview, Long 
Island, NY after a long long illness.  He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist 
Church, Norfolk.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two brothers, Reginald L. Ampey Sr. 
and Luther L. Ampey, both of Norfolk.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, with Hale Funeral Home in charge of 
arrangements.
