Norfolk - Freeman S. Ampey of 1114 Wall street, died in his home.  A native of 
Blackstone, he was a son of William and Mrs. Jane Ampey and the husband of the 
late Mrs. Sarah F. Ampey.

He was a 55-year employee of Norfolk & Western Railway.

He is survived by three nephews and three nieces.

A funeral service was held in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. C. W. Tyson.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
