ANDERSON, BESSIE WHARTON – At a Virginia Beach hospital Sunday morning, Jan. 27, 
1957, at 5:30 o’clock, BESSIE WHARTON ANDERSON, widow of Luther E. Anderson and 
daughter of the late Ebenezer and Sally Bassett Wharton, in the 78th year of her 
age. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home THIS 
(Monday) AFTERNOON, Jan. 28, 1957, at 4 o’clock. Friends of the family invited to 
attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
