NORFOLK – Funeral services for Miss Blanche Whitehurst Anderson, daughter of the 
late William A. and Mrs. Ella Daughtrey Anderson, who died Saturday at a Norfolk 
hospital, were conducted at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments yesterday at 10:30 
a.m., by the Rev. Harold A. Malmborg, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist 
Church. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were M. M. Terrie, Oliver 
Wynne, Jr., George Van Leeuwen, Wingfield Brownley, Charles E. Arnold, Jr., and W. 
Herbert Nash.
