NORFOLK — Dorothy Hanson Anderson, of 5459 Argall Crescent, a retired librarian 
of the Norfolk city schools, died Saturday in a hospital. A
native of Wauwatosa, Wis., who lived in this area since 1944, she was the widow 
of Randolph L. Anderson.
She was a member of Ghent United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Alice A. Bangs of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Leif T. 
Svanoe of Lexington, Ky.; and a grandson, Robert A. Bangs.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apart¬ments, 
Norfolk, by the Rev. Robert L. Watts. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The 
family, which will be at 1321 Upper Brandon Place, Norfolk, requests that 
flowers be omitted. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Chapter of 
the Leukemia Society of America Inc.
