Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 19, 1924

Mrs. Elizabeth C. Anderson, aged 87 years, widow of Colonel John Anderson, died 
yesterday morning at 4:20 o'clock at the home of her nephew, W.C. Fearear, 229 
West Thirty-fourth Street. She was a native of Philadelphia and had been a 
resident of Norfolk 10 years. She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. W.J. Thomas 
and Miss Imogene Fearear and one nephew, W.C. Fearear. Funeral services and 
burial will be private this afternoon, the Rev. J. Scott Meredith, D.D., of the 
Episcopal Church of the Ascension, officiating at the funeral.
