Virginian Pilot February 23, 1959

Miss Lena M. Anderson, 76, daughter of the late Joseph T. and Mrs. Mary Gressett 
Anderson, died at a Norfolk hospital Sunday at 2:10 p.m. She is survived by a 
sister, Mrs. Mary B. Shea; three brothers, John S. Anderson, William E. Anderson 
and George A. Anderson, all of Norfolk and several nieces and nephews.
Miss Anderson was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing at 1433 Norcova Ave. 
She was a member of the Old Colley Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Tuesday at 
3 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

NORFOLK – Funeral services for Miss Lena M. Anderson, who died in a Norfolk 
hospital Sunday, will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home today at 3 
p.m. by the Rev. W. W. Grover. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
