The accident occurred about 10 o'clock while Anderson and two other men were working on the power company's wires. At the time Anderson is said to have been disconnecting a wire carrying 110 volts. In disconnecting the wire, one of Anderson's hands came in contact with the current and was burned. Whether he was thrown to the ground by the current or became frightened when he felt the current and lost his balance, will likely be determined at the coroner's inquest to be held at noon today at the high constable's office. Anderson's skull was fractured and he suffered a severe wound on the right side of his forehead, his hands were burned and his body was bruised. Young Anderson was the son of Mrs. Mary E. and the late Edward P. Anderson. He is survived by his mother, two sisters, Mrs. C.T. Cabler and Mrs. W.L. Carter and three brothers, Patrolman J.R. Anderson, R.L. Anderson and Edward P. Anderson, Jr. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was well liked. The funeral will be held at the residence at 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
