Anderson The sad intelligence was received this city on yesterday morning of the death in Baltimore of Mrs. Lucy Calvert Anderson, the wife of our townsman, T.B. Anderson, and daughter of the late Thomas D. Toy. Mrs. Anderson, who had been in delicate health for some time, went to Baltimore last week for the purpose of consulting an eminent physician. On Monday a telegram announced her dangerous illness and her husband and his brother, Dr. L.B. Anderson, left at once for her bedside. The remains will arrive from Baltimore this morning and the funeral be preached from the Freemason Street Baptist Church this evening at 4:30 o'clock. The deceased was a most estimable lady with many winning traits of character and her loss will be keenly felt by her bereaved family and friends. She was one of the original members of the St. Cecilia Society and by her death this organization loses one of its most ardent supporters. ************************************************************************ Brought here for interment-The Baltimore steamer Carolina this morning brought all that was mortal of Mrs. Lucy C.
