Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday January 10, 1936
Miss Blanche Reid Anderson, daughter of the late J.S.B. and Isabella McKenzie 
Anderson, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, died at 3:25 o'clock 
yesterday morning at the residence, No, 4 Windermere Apartments, 1500 Hampton 
boulevard, after a lingering illness.  Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. W.A. 
Marable and Mrs. Lloyd S. Grove, and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral 
services will be held at the above residence tomorrow at 12 o'clock noon, with 
the Rev. J.L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of First Presbyterian Church, of which 
Miss Anderson was a member, officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
