Norfolk Virginian June 9, 1896

Mrs. Mary Anderson, relict of the late John Anderson, died at the residence of 
her son-in-law, Mr. M.P. Harrison, yesterday morning at 5 o'clock after a 
lingering illness from consumption, aged 45 years.  The funeral will take place 
from the residence, on Payne Street, this morning at 10:30 o'clock.  Interment 
will take place in Magnolia Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Anderson took place yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock 
from the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. M.P. Harrison, on Payne Street, and 
was conducted by Rev. R.M. Chandler of Chestnut Street M.E. Church.  Interment 
in Magnolia Cemetery.
