He was a son of Mrs. Iva Anderson and the late Benjamin Anderson. A native of Norfolk, Va., he had been living in Philadelphia 14 years. He was employed by the Baldwin Co., construction engineers, the last 12 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. Besides his mother, surviving are his wife, Mrs. Thelma Anderson, and one sister, Mrs. Malvene V. Mainor of Norfolk. The body will be sent to Riddick Funeral Service, Norfolk, where a funeral service will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Richard B. Martin, pastor of Grace Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with full military rites.
