Mrs. Anderson Dies; Active Churchwoman

NORFOLK - Mrs. Josephine Anderson, of 434 Brambleton ave., died Friday at 1:15 p.m.
at 111 Hardy Ave. She was the widow of Harry Anderson, and a native of Elizabeth
City, N.C. She had lived in Norfolk more than 50 years.

She was a member of St. Paul's C.M.E. Church, where she was active on the board of
stewards.

Surviving are seven nieces and one nephew.

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at
St. Paul's C.M.E. Church Tuesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. William C. Flannagan, pastor.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
