NORFOLK - James Anderson of 133 E. Indian River Road, the husband of Adelaide
Anderson, died Monday in a hospital.

A native of Raleigh, N.C. he was a cement finisher. He was a member of Antioch
Baptist Church.

Besides his widow, survivors include tow daughters, Mrs. Rachael Davis of Newport
News and Mrs. Alestine Brickhouse of Norfolk; and a son, James Johnson of Norfolk.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church by the
Rev. F.P. Wise. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in
charge.
