The Virginian-Pilot, Thursday, May 5, 1960

NORFOLK - Lonnie L. Anderson, 72, of 1331 W. 43rd St., died Monday at 5 a.m. in a
Norfolk hospital after a long illness.

He was a son of Henry and Mrs. Nettie Anderson and a native of Cofield, N.C. He had
lived in Norfolk more than 60 years.

He was a member of the Masonic Order.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lelia Anderson, and an adopted daughter, Mrs. Mabel
Lane of Richmond, Calif.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at
First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, Saturday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. R. Hudson
Bobbitt, pastor. Burial will be in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery.
