Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, December 14, 1996 
Gracie N. Johnson Anderson of the 2200 block of Reservoir Ave. died Dec. 11,
1996, in a local hospital.

A retired supervisor at a Sheraton Hotel, she was a native of Isle of Wight
County. She was the widow of Frank Anderson and a member of New Calvary Baptist
Church, Norfolk.

She was predeceased by her parents, Annie Thomas Johnson and James Johnson.

Survivors include her four sisters, Gwendolyn Griffin, Beatrice Alexander, Edna
Cutinnia and Alice Smith; and two brothers, James Johnson and Robert Johnson.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in New Calvary Baptist Church,
Norfolk, by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Graves
Funeral Home is in charge. The remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.
The family will receive friends in the residence.
