DEATHS

A. F. ANDERSON, SR.

NORFOLK - Arthur Frederick Anderson, Sr., 70, son of John Thomas and Mrs. 
Georgeanna Parsons Anderson, died Monday in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Anderson, retired heating engineer, was a lifelong resident of Norfolk, lately 
at 7504 Galveston Blvd.

Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Verdelina A. Hamlet and Mrs. Marion G. Gibbs 
of Princess Anne County; Mrs. Ethel A. Murden and Mrs. Mary G. Hood of Norfolk; 
Mrs. Marie A. Tidwell of Annandale; Mrs. Adeline A. Spence of Bayside and Mrs. 
Margaret A. Kline of Phoenix, Ariz.; four sons, Arthur F. Anderson Jr. of 
Portsmouth; Carol L. Anderson Sr. and Joseph V. Anderson of Norfolk and John R. 
Anderson of Bayside; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Howell of Portsmouth; 36 grandchildren 
and three great-grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.  A 
funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Thursday at 10 
a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
