MRS. MARGARET ELLEN ANDERSON, 63, wife of Arthur F. Anderson and daughter of the 
late Benjamin F. and Mrs. Adlean Jerald McKown, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, 
died yesterday at 11 a.m., at the residence, 8314 Chesapeake Street.

Besides her husband, she is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. E. B. Hamlet, Mrs. 
S. B. Gibbs, Mrs. O. L. Murden and Mrs. F. L. Hood, of Norfolk;  Mrs. C. O. 
Tidwell of Gary, Ind., and Mrs. M. B. Spence and Mrs. J. G. Klein of Norfolk; four 
sons, Arthur F. Anderson, Jr., and Carl L. Anderson, of Norfolk; Joseph V. 
Anderson, of Winthrop, Mass., and John R. Anderson of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. 
Fred S. Nelliger and Mrs. G. A. Balley of Norfolk; four brothers, E. M., C. F. and 
L. M. McKown, of Norfolk, and Phillip S. McKown, of Richmond, and 16 
grandchildren.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Holy Trinity 
Catholic Church for services tomorrow at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.  Rosary services will be conducted at the funeral apartments tonight at 
8.
