Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 13, 1914

The funeral of Esther Anderson, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William T. 
Anderson, took place at 12 o'clock yesterday privately at the grave in Elmwood 
Cemetery. Services were conducted by Rev. Dr. S.W. Melton of Freemason Street 
Baptist Church. The little girl died at 4:40 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from 
diphtheria. She was 6 years and 5 months old.
