He was 84 years old. Born in Norfolk he spent most of his life after the War Between the States in Baltimore. He was the son of Dr. Thomas Andrews, who was a Norfolk physician many years ago. His early education was received in the private schools and he took his classical course at Georgetown University. He later graduated in law at Harvard. Leaving this university he traveled and gave his attention to literature for several years, relinquishing study at the outbreak of the war to serve the Confederacy. Following the close of strife he made his home in Baltimore, but spent a great part of his time in foreign lands, having visited almost every country of the globe. He was a man of large means and unostentatiously charitable. Mr. Andrews was a bachelor. He had two sisters, Misses Kate and Eliza Andrews, both of whom are dead. No other member of the family survives. ******************************************************************************* The body of Oliveira Andrews who died in Baltimore several days ago, will arrive here this morning.
