NORFOLK - Vivian L. Andrews, of the 1300 block of Maltby Ave., died Feb. 24, 
2003 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a janitor at Booker T. 
Washington High School and was a Baptist.
She is survived by her daughter, Dana Andrews of Norfolk; two sons, Charles 
Andrews of Norfolk and Kevin Andrews and wife Latonia of Wichita, Kan.; sister, 
Martina Miles and husband Mac Wilburn of Virginia Beach; brother, Owen L. Poyner 
and wife Helen of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a 
host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at noon Friday in Solid Rock Church of Christ Disciples 
by the Rev. Isaac Coaxum. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The remains will 
be ready for viewing Thursday from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at 
the residence at 11 a.m. Friday for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral 
Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
