Virginian Pilot June 22, 1967

William Shelburn Andrus, 78, of 1408 Kingston Ave., died Wednesday morning in a 
Hampton hospital. 
A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Adelia Lorene Anderson Andrus 
and a son of Thurston F. and Mrs. Marietta Andrus.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and a retired employee of 
Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Besides his widow, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Carroll Dudley of Lively 
and Mrs. Mary Creamer of Norfolk and a brother, Raymond F. Andrus of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home 
by the Rev. Anthony Warner. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
