Public Ledger April 11, 1883

Brought here for interment-The Baltimore steamer Carolina this morning brought 
to the city the remains of Mrs. S.H. Angell, for many years a resident of this 
city, and whose death in Baltimore Monday in the 90th year of her age has been 
before published. The remains were met at the wharf by a number of friends of 
the family and conveyed to the Cedar Grove Cemetery, where with the rites of 
the Episcopal Church, conducted by Rev O.S. Barten, D.D., rector of the Christ 
Church, they were consigned to the tomb beside those of her husband, Mr. Nathan 
J. Angell, who had preached here for many years. The following were the pall-
bearers: Messrs. C.T. Cabler, John T. Redmond, K. Cook, James Reid, Walter 
Taylor, and John M. Gibbs.
