Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 31, 1940

Mrs. Katie Darling Ferebee Angus, aged 67, died last night at 8:10 o'clock after 
an illness of several months, at her home, 708 Pine street.  She was the widow 
of George W. Angus, was a native of Camden County, N.C., and had been a resident 
of this section many years.  She was a daughter of Thomas C. and Bettie Wallace 
Ferebee.   Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. Mathias M. Tunis; one brother, 
Wallace Cooper Ferebee, of this city and was a niece of John Wallace, treasurer 
of Norfolk County.  She also was a sister of the late Mrs. W.L. Berkley.
Mrs. Angus was a member of St. Bride's Episcopal Church.  The body was removed 
to the J.R. Williams Funeral Home, 1027 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, 
pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Katie Darling Ferebee Angus -- Funeral services for Mrs. Angus, who died 
Monday night at her home, 708 Pine Street, Berkley, will be conducted this 
morning at 11 o'clock at the J.R Williams Funeral Home, 1027 Chesapeake avenue, 
South Norfolk.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
