Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 21, 1952

Mrs. Mary Adelaide Ross Ansell, 82, widow of John T. Ansell and daughter of John 
R. and Mrs. Missouri Hundley Ross, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. 
D.W. Causey, Jr., 2832 Vimy Ridge Avenue, Saturday at 6:10 p.m.
Mrs. Ansell, a lifelong resident of Norfolk, resided at 812 Manteo Street at the 
time of her death. She was a life member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the 
Sodality of the Blessed Virgin.
Besides Mrs. Causey, she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. William J. 
White, Mrs. A.H. O'Rourke and Mrs. L.W. Nunnally, all of Norfolk and 18 
grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Saint 
Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted today at 8 p.m. at the 
funeral apartments.
