The Norfolk Virginian Pilot February 9, 1947


William Edward Ansell, 73, died at a local hospital yesterday at 9:25 a.m. 
after a long illness. He is a lifelong resident of Norfolk, residing will his 
nephew, John A. Deuell, 112 West Thirty-Fourth Street, at the time of his 
death. Besides his nephew he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Webber, of 
Long Island, N.Y. Funeral services will be conducted at the Gregory Funeral 
Home Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
