Anthony Jr. of the 900 block of Reservoir Ave., a cement finisher, died Jan. 23, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Anthony was a native of Norfolk and the son of the late Floyd and Mamie Willis Anthony. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include three sisters, Ernestine B. Harrison and Rebecca Archer, both of Norfolk, and Loretta Weber of Chicago; three brothers, Luther Anthony, the Rev. Lonell Anthony and Thomas Anthony, all of Norfolk; aunts, Cotisteen Webb and Mildred Day, both of Scotland Neck, N.C., and Mildred Willis of Portsmouth; uncles, Robert Willis and Clarence Webb of Scotland Neck and the Rev. Percy Willis of Portsmouth; a special friend, Edna Hart; two sisters-in-law, Gracie Anthony and Aliceteen Anthony; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Calvary Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. G.G. Campbell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will be at 959 Reservoir Ave., Norfolk. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
