W. L. Hildebrand. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with B. F. King Funeral Home in charge. She died Sunday in a local hospital after a long illness. A native of Norfolk, she was a daughter of the late Phillip Cotton and Mrs. Betty Mackey Cotton and widow of I. Reuben Archer. She was a member of St. John AME Church, Better Garden Club of Huntersville, the Barboursville Civic League and a graduate of Norfolk Mission College. Survivors are two sons, I. Reuben Archer and Douglas Mackey Archer, both of Norfolk; five daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Turner, Miss Aurelia Archer, Miss Generva Archer, Mrs. Audrey A. Robinson and Mrs. Leah A. Hunter, all of Norfolk; a brother, Phillip Cotton of Norfolk; two sisters, Miss Sadie Cotton of Norfolk and Mrs. Annie Russell of Virginia Beach; 17 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
