Isaac Reuben Archer, Sr., died Feb. 9 in a Norfolk hospital after a short 
illness.  A native of Norfolk, Mr. Archer resided at 1336 Bolton street.  He 
was employed at Union Station.  He was a member of the Orioles Club.

Funeral services were held at Bank Street Baptist Church on Feb. 14 at 3 
p.m.  Dr. J. B. Henderson, pastor, officiated.

Mr. Archer is survived by his widow, Mrs. Aurelia Archer;  five daughters, 
two sons and other relatives.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with King Funeral Home in charge of funeral 
arrangements.
