The deceased was 26 years old and of English birth. His remains were taken charge of by friends from Newport News, who turned them over to Mr. H. D. Oliver, the funeral director, to prepare for burial. The obsequies were conducted at his apartments at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon by Rev. Dr. R. D. Tucker, of St. Paul’s P. E. Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
