Armstrong, station superintendent of the Independent Subway System, will be held tomorrow at the funeral parlors at Broadway and Sixty- sixth street, Manhattan. He died yesterday at the age of 52. He lived at No. 34-24 Eighty-second street, Jackson Heights, Queens. Mr. Armstrong was in charge of more than 1,000 station agents and porters in the city’s subway system. He was appointed to the Independent in 1932 and became station superintendent two years later. Surviving are his widow, a son, and two sisters.
